Journalism Bio
With 10+ years of journalism experience under my belt, I excel at sourcing and writing
compelling, accurate stories for print magazines, digital-first publications, and more.
I cut my journalist teeth the summer after freshman year of college, when at 19
I became Dance Spirit's youngest-ever editorial intern. For the rest of my undergraduate education,
I pulled double duty as both The College Voice's news/arts editor and as a frequent contributor to Dance Spirit.

Upon graduating from Connecticut College, I immediately joined Dance Media as assistant/fashion editor
for Dance Teacher, Dance Spirit, and Dance Retailer News (now Dance Business Weekly).
After three productive and skill-building years with Dance Media Publications,
I decided to pursue greater autonomy as a full-time freelancer.
Topics I am frequently asked to cover include: dance, fashion, fitness, health,
nutrition, mindfulness, psychology, business, pickleball, and beyond.
